Sweet Protection blends industry-leading innovation with the finest craftsmanship available to create the safest and most advanced helmets, eyewear, protective gear and apparel. Distribution is strongest in Scandinavia, Europe and North America through selected retailers and our own eCommerce. The brand is currently experiencing strong growth and are looking for an enthusiastic, forward leaning and hardworking sales account manager with a "can do"-attitude to help further build on our momentum. The sales account manager must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet set deadlines. Sweet Protection is part of Active Brands AS, a brand house and leading supplier of premium brand goods to the sports retail industry. The brand portfolio currently consists of Kari Traa, Bula, Vossatassar, Johaug, Åsnes, Dæhlie and Sweet Protection. Active Brands' turnover is approximately NOK 1000 million and the number of employees is 210, situated in Oslo, Voss, Trysil, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Denver and Shanghai. Active Brands aims to build strong brand positions and to become a preferred partner to the retailers. Active Brands has high ambitions for growth through our existing brands as well as future acquisitions. The main shareholder is the Nordic private equity investment company FSN Capital AS.

The main objective of the role
Responsible for the day-to-day sales tasks needed in the development and implementation of the company's sales strategy in Sweden. Ensure all sales efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term goals, and help identifying and execute improvements.

Main tasks

  • Sales and follow up on Sweet Protection customers in Sweden.
  • Preparation of offers and follow up on these according to deadlines.
  • Contribute on budgeting and forecasting within different categories and customer levels.
  • Planning and follow up on campaigns and relevant sales activities towards customers
  • Plan and effectuate to provide product training to all customers for each season
  • Responsible for turnover and earnings on defined customer portfolio 


Experience / Skills required

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  2. A commercial profile with solid sales experience (minimum 2 years' experience in sales or account management) and documented results.
  3. Deep knowledge of the Swedish sporting goods industry
  4. Economic understanding
  5. Excellent abilities to multitask and work under pressure
  6. Must be organized, able to think creatively, able to clearly communicate with peers, co-workers and senior management and like to solve problems
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and to work with ERP systems.
  8. Ability to work with multiple company departments from marketing, product and customer operations.
  9. Must have a valid driver's license
  10. Languages: Must be proficient in Swedish and English
  11. Prepared to travel

This is a full-time position located in Gothenburg/Stockholm.  

The position reports to the Country Manager in Sweden and indirectly to the Sales Manager Scandinavia of Sweet Protection in Oslo.
