As the world's leading Snowboard Company, Burton designs and manufactures industry-leading products for snowboarding and the snowboard lifestyle, including snowboards, boots, bindings, outerwear and layering as well as year-round apparel, packs/bags and accessories. Privately held and owned, Burton's headquarters are in Burlington, Vermont with offices in Austria, Japan, Australia, California, Canada and China.

We are currently looking for a based in Stockholm area:
Territory Manager Scandinavia (f/m/d)


  • Responsible for the Burton brand in the four Scandinavian countries: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark
  • Formulate, implement and execute the sales and marketing strategy in collaboration with Europe Business Directors across all channels (Wholesale and Direct to Consumer)
  • Develop and implement aligned growth plan for channel/category distribution of the territory market including pricing, account growths, customer/market analysis and key city distribution plan
  • Manage agencies and distributors in alignment with the Brand's respective territory plan regarding sales and doors plan, marketing spending and activations; plan and propose sales organization's changes where necessary and relevant
  • Take responsibility for revenue goals, budgets, pricing, sales forecasts, sales targets and track results accordingly
  • Co-develop go-to-market-plan together with EU Marketing and Sales Directors and coordinate all local marketing execution together with the team in Sweden
  • Manage sustainable relationships with key field clients, understand their business model and try to develop win-win solutions
  • Present the product lines and lead education programs (clinics) to sales team and key customers
  • Provide outstanding people management, recruitment, motivation, training and development
  • Manage showrooms, product line showings, presentations and other events



  • Bachelor or Master's degree in economics (major in sales management, marketing, or similar)
  • Proven track of min. 3 years of successful leadership in sporting goods or apparel business in Scandinavia – ideally in a multi-channel organization with business-to-business sales management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, creative and highly effective team player, strategic thinking ability with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Customer-centric mindset by putting the consumer at the heart of every decision
  • Native in Swedish, solid skills in English both oral and written; German and/or Norwegian are a plus
  • Advanced skills with MS-Office
  • Strong willingness to travel within Scandinavia, to the Europe HQ in Innsbruck and other international locations if required

    In 2020 Shimano embarks on a new and exciting plan to represent Shimano Fishing products, including a line up of rods, reels and baits directly to their customers in Sweden. We are looking for passionate Sales Reps that are driven to succeed and believe in building strong relationships with their customers. We will be building the new team gradually. Therefore initially you will be responsible for Sweden before regions are set in place. In this role you will be required to travel across your area to support retailers. As a Sales Representative you will advise your customers on market trends and Shimano products to help them with their orders. Together with your Sales Manager you formulate plans to best capture business, add value to your accounts and achieve sales targets. Bo Dalarnasson: Intressant diskussion, men frågan är om det är priset på varan som avgör kvalitén på produkten. Det är det vanliga bland yngre att desto dyrare en produkt är desto bättre är den. Tyvärr är det länge...
